WrightRecord Text Message Program

Last updated: July 18, 2026

WrightRecord is an internal tool for Wright State University psychiatry residents. Residents who opt in receive text-message reminders about clinical-requirement deadlines and monthly duty-hours confirmations. This page explains how opt-in works and reproduces the exact consent form shown in the app.

How opt-in works

  • Texting is off by default for every resident. No one receives texts without completing this form.
  • A resident signs in, opens Settings (/settings, login required), enters their own mobile number, and checks the consent box. The box is never pre-checked.
  • Consent is stamped server-side with a timestamp and can be withdrawn at any time in Settings.
  • Replying STOP to any message also opts the resident out immediately; HELP returns help information, and START re-subscribes.

The consent form

This is the form residents see in Settings. The checkbox below is shown exactly as it appears in the app — unchecked by default (this copy is illustrative and not functional):

I agree to receive text-message reminders from WrightRecord (requirement deadlines and duty-hours confirmations) at the number above. Message frequency varies; message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of using WrightRecord. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
